This week we learned that Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice spares no expense when she is dining out. During Episode 13 we saw her order literally 10 appetizers while out to eat at Pure Restaurant in Parsippany with Melissa Gorga, Siggy Flicker, and Dolores Catania. You heard me right …. 10 appetizers! Girl sure does know how to eat (she’s my total spirit animal). So when it comes to food, this mom-of-four certainly knows what she’s talking about.
While we know the Garden State is chock full of fabulous restaurants, sometimes you just want a change of scenery. Lucky for us, NYC is a quick car or train ride away, and it’s full of an endless array of eateries in every cuisine imaginable down every almost every single block. Teresa seems to know this more than anyone else, because according to her Instagram pics she certainly spends quite a bit of time in the NYC dining scene. Need some inspiration for you next GNO or date night dinner spot in the Big Apple? Let Teresa be your guide through one of the biggest restaurant scenes in the country. Here’s our Teresa Giudice guide to dining out in NYC.
Take your daughter to dinner
Tre loves to bring her four girls to this family-friendly establishment to munch on their creative gourmet burgers and indulge in their infamous over-the-top milkshakes. The family recently celebrated Gabriella’s 12th birthday here (lucky kid!).
Teresa treated daughter (and RHONJ breakout star) Milania to a fancy dinner with friends at this popular, upscale Chinese restaurant.
The Montville native likes to brand outside of Manhattan sometimes. She joined her RHONJ production team at this sleek, high-end Brooklyn spot known for their classic Italian cuisine and wine (which it looks like they certainly were enjoying!).
Teresa loves to visit any one of Harry Cipriani’s four NYC institutions to grab drinks and food with her girlfriends (including co-stars Siggy and Dolores).
The bar at this luxurious French hotel, which takes its visual cues from great American long bars of decades past and the royal stables at Versailles, is a favorite spot for Tre and her girls to grab a couple cocktails and dance the night away. Beforehand the ladies can grab a bite to eat next door inside their stunning Grand Salon, complete with a 64-arm Baccarat chandelier.
You can never go wrong with a little sushi and sake on a GNO. Teresa and her girlfriends frequent this world famous Japanese restaurant, known for its innovative new style cuisine paired with a hip crowd.
Avra Madison Estiatorio
Teresa doesn’t just stick to Italian, but instead likes to venture into other cuisines. This bi-level authentic Greek restaurant located just steps from Central Park, is the perfect spot for her to have a fancy dinner with friends (and a yummy martini).
VIPs fill the dining room of this 10-table Italian icon, where who you know is key to entry. So no wonder Teresa and her hubby Joe had no problem scoring a table to celebrate a recent anniversary here.
