Englewood resident Alicia Keys pulled out all of the stops at her pop up performance in Times Square. The 35-year-old singer, is releasing her album, Here, on November 4, and she gathered an all-star line-up to help celebrate it.
Alicia was joined by Questlove and John Mayer for a fabulous rendition of her classic hit, “If I Ain’t Got You.”
She performed a few of her newer hits, including “In Common.”
In honor of John Lennon’s birthday, the Voice judge covered his legendary song “Imagine.”
Although the crowd was filled with energy throughout the entire show on Sunday, they absolutely lost it when Jay-Z joined the stage for one of the most famous songs about New York, “Empire State of Mind.” The performance quickly went viral on Facebook.
The mother of two was overwhelmed with the success of the event and took to Twitter to thank her fans.
