Oprah Winfrey been open about her weight struggles for years and inspired countless fans to shed the pounds. In the ’80’s, the TV show host lost 67 pounds on a liquid diet, but then quickly regained 17 of those pounds a year later. The roller coaster was something that followed her up until 2015 when she joined Weight Watchers. She lost nearly 30 pounds on their Beyond The Scale program and has been open yet again about how she did it.
While exercise has become a part of her daily routine, there are some diet tricks she’s learned on the program where she can indulge and stay healthy. So, what are some of her favorite foods?

Drinking half your body weight in ounces of water a day is crucial to obtaining that slender figure. But, if you’re anything like Oprah, you hate the bland taste. You may not be able to pronounce it, but it should certainly be on your diet. Pronounced HE-kuh-muh, it’s Oprah’s favorite veggie. “I love jicama because you get a crunch,” she recently said in an interview. It can easily be found in a health food store or even a major retailer like Wegmans soon coming to Montvale.
8. Crab Cakes
