On Saturday, dog lovers in Hoboken gathered in Stevens Park for Bark in the Park, organized by Liberty Humane Society. The event featured pet adoptions, a dog walk/parade, a dog Halloween costume, live entertainment and a bounce house, fun for the whole family, human and animal. According to a Facebook post, the event raised over $30,000 to continue to the important work of the Jersey City based nonprofit organization to provide “animals in need with a chance at a lifelong, loving home.”
