My dreams came true this past weekend when I had the wonderful opportunity to chat with Hillary Kerr, co-founder of one of my favorite fashion websites, Who What Wear. She created arguably one of the biggest digital fashion brands back in 2006 with Katherine Power, after they both left their posts at Elle Magazine. Their website is now a fashion-world must-read, and their Instagram boasts a whopping 1.7 million followers. Hillary joined big-name bloggers Arielle Charnas (Something Navy), Natalie Suarez (Natalie Off Duty) and Danielle Bernstein (We Wore What) Saturday at the BossNotes Fashion + Leadership Summit at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus to share her career advice and journeys.

Before she joined the panel, we chatted about her Jersey roots (her dad went to Princeton!) and Who What Wear’s new clothing collaboration with Target. She also tells me how social media, and having a distinct point of view, played a huge role in their success.
